Project Highlights
M/s Bharat Oman Refineries Ltd (BORL) is setting up a 6.00 MMTPA grass root refinery at Bina in India. As part of the Bina Refinery Project, M/s Bharat Oman Refineries Limited (BORL) intend to install a Single Point Mooring (SPM) system and offshore/onshore crude oil pipeline from SPM to Crude Oil Terminal (COT) at Vadinar for unloading/transportation of crude oil received through ocean tankers.
Leighton scope of work includes for the installation of the SPM and PLEM system in approximately thirty two (32) metres water depth at the offshore section of the pipeline, including piling as well as the onshore pipeline including terminal piping.
The pipeline is approximately 17 kilometers long and 48 inches in diameter.
It will be used to import crude oil to the Bina oil refinery at Vadinar on India’s northwest coast.
BEKK Solutions International Limited provided diving support for drilling, grouting and installation of the ten (10) anchor piles, installation of PLEM, SPM buoy, two (2) subsea and two (2) surface hoses, free span correction using freeform grout bags, commissioning.
